I
deas, Suggestions:
> Utilize website to describe assessment district and give a pitch about what it can do.
> Approach PTAs, give presentation on what we are doing and why.
> Need walls along residential section to make it consistent.
(Three responses supported this)
> Need shrubs or vines on walls to prevent graffiti.
> Preserve Flight Path plaques; allow room for future ones.
> Elevate signals at HH Parkway for better visibility from far away.
> Would like pedestrian bridges across HH Parkway and 76/77th.
> Eliminate root-invasive trees, i.e. ficus.
(Three responses said this)
> Get more input and payback from commercial venues: LAX, Playa Vista, etc.

Evaluation Forms
(18 filled out)

Majority: Indicated the workshop was either "super" or "pretty good."
A Few: Gave mediocre grades.
Two: Thought the small group process regarding funding did not give them adequate opportunity to express views that didn't support the assessment district.
One Each: It was too long.
More notice should be given for next meeting.
Cindy should attend the meeting.
